About Me

About Me

I have been practicing as a clinical counsellor for over 15 years. I have worked in both public and private post-secondary counselling centers, human resources departments and private clinical practice. In addition to my counselling practice I also teach graduate level counselling students at Adler University.

I believe that our past influences our present, but it doesn’t have to impact it negatively moving forward.  We are all continually changing and growing as we encounter new people, new experiences and new solutions. My goal is to help you make the changes you want to in your life as effectively as possible. I believe in using evidence based treatments so you get the best help possible

I use a variety of therapy modalities to help clients experience relief from the problems in their life. Some of the therapies I am trained in are CBT, DBT, RO DBT, Adlerian Psychodynamic, Art Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy and EMDR Therapy.

Beginning therapy is a courageous choice and my goal is to honor your courage to engage in the process by making the experience as simple and welcoming as possible.  Send me an email and let's get started today.

My Office & Co-Therapists

Office

Full of books and easily accessible from the street. No elevators or intercom systems. Just knock on the front door.

Co-Therapists

Many individuals find it an ice breaker to be greeted by these two rescue dogs. Teenagers especially like cuddling with them.

Counselling Equestrians

Counselling Equestrians in the lower mainland requires me to travel to different barns and equestrian establishments - something I love doing.
